Application of passivity control theory to chaotic systems

چکیده
Nonlinear systems are difficult to control and may exhibit chaotic behavior under certain parameters selection. Typical example of these systems is the well known Lorenz attractor. In this paper passive theory is used to design controllers to a class of minimum phase nonlinear systems. The feedback controllers guarantee asymptotic stability of the closed loop system. The method is applied to a permanent magnet synchronous motor. Simulation studies of test system are shown for both the open and closed loop system behavior show the effectiveness of the proposed controller. Hybrid Passivity Based and Fuzzy Type-2 Controller for Chaotic and Hyper-chaotic Systems
In this paper a hybrid passivity based and fuzzy type-2 controller for chaotic and hyper-chaotic systems is presented. The proposed control strategy is an appropriate choice to be implemented for the stabilization of chaotic and hyper-chaotic systems due to the energy considerations of the passivity based controller and the flexibility and capability of the fuzzy type-2 controller to deal with ...
متن کاملHybrid Control to Approach Chaos Synchronization of Uncertain DUFFING Oscillator Systems with External Disturbance
This paper proposes a hybrid control scheme for the synchronization of two chaotic Duffing oscillator system, subject to uncertainties and external disturbances. The novelty of this scheme is that the Linear Quadratic Regulation (LQR) control, Sliding Mode (SM) control and Gaussian Radial basis Function Neural Network (GRBFNN) control are combined to chaos synchronization with respect to extern...
متن کاملA passivity based synchronization between two different chaotic systems
In this paper, we propose a new passivity-based synchronization method for two different chaotic systems. Based on Lyapunov stability theory and linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, the passivity-based controller is presented to make the synchronization error system between two different chaotic systems not only passive but also asymptotically stable. It is shown that the proposed controlle...
متن کاملModified Sliding-Mode Control Method for Synchronization a Class of Chaotic Fractional-Order Systems with Application in Encryption
In this study, we propose a secure communication scheme based on the synchronization of two identical fractional-order chaotic systems. The fractional-order derivative is in Caputo sense, and for synchronization, we use a robust sliding-mode control scheme. The designed sliding surface is taken simply due to using special technic for fractional-order systems. Also, unlike most manuscripts, the ...
متن کاملDesign of A No-chatter Fractional Sliding Mode Control Approach for Stabilization of Non-Integer Chaotic Systems
A nonlinear chattering-free sliding mode control method is designed to stabilize fractional chaotic systems with model uncertainties and external disturbances. The main feature of this controller is rapid convergence to equilibrium point, minimize chattering and resistance against uncertainties. The frequency distributed model is used to prove the stability of the controlled system based on dir...
